Watching old movies or broadcasts always sound the same. Everyone has a very muffled and nasal sound to them. What caused microphones to produce such a uniformly weird sound?

I think it’s cause of the liberals and the Illuminati that nerfed our sound quality to hide messages and brainwash our youth generation. The ones that were smart had tinfoil hats and became independent from the state.
