What makes voices unique, if it’s mostly a matter of air flow and muscles?

The sounds that come out of something are determined by the shape and material of that something and what all the air interacts with in the way out.

Different people have differently shaped mouths, vocal chords, throats, teeth, and tounges that changes what the air does and what it interacts with along the way from person to person..

Just like a trumpet and a saxophone are both pieces of metal that turn air into noise but sound different because their length and shape is different.
