Eli5: Why does a radioactive material still radiate at absolute zero temperature?

Does it? Are you actually asking to explain something you know to be true for sure?
One, we can’t reach absolute zero. Two, if we did anyway and a decay happens, it’s immediately not absolute zero any more, there’s particles flying around.
