What Ive read is that tears or the act of crying is releasing energy (sometimes negative). When you cry for longer periods, you are literally releasing most of your energy. Thats why most people fall asleep or feel lethargic after a “good cry”.
Your bodies literally juicing itself with every duct and pore in your face.
That’s just sounds taxing.
