eli5: Why does fizzy juice become less fizzy when you put it in the fridge?

It’s because the CO2 that’s dissolved in the juice that gives it it’s fizzy taste bubbles out of the juice.

When you twist the top off and hear the PPSSTTT, that’s the CO2 leaving the bottle.
