It’s like every liquid really. Heat is energy. The more liquid, the more energy it can store. The second variable is the surface of contact with a colder environment that can transfer that energy.
A hot bath usually has a relatively low amount of surface in contact with a colder environment (the surface of the water), because the bottom of the bath doesn’t transfer heat well (it’s on purpose). As a result, a hot bath doesn’t lose its heat easily.
On the other hand, other liquid that get spilled, such as drops out of a cup, there is a very large surface of colder air compared to the amount of water that can store energy. Thus the liquid get cold much faster.
