Eli5: Why is a margarita from a bar/restaurant than the pre bottled at the liquor store?

Restaurant margaritas taste better and give you a better buzz. Why?!!!

The last time I saw a bottle of “margarita” at the grocery store it wasn’t margarita but margarita MIX. No alcohol in it. I live in a state where I can buy liquor in grocery stores.
The bottles you’re talking about are probably the same: margarita mix with no alcohol. You need to add the booze yourself.
