Eli5: Why is acne around the nose and mouth more painful than other facial areas?

The skin in those places (nerves, blood, etc) is very densely packed into a small space compared to skin elsewhere. A pimple of the same size is pushing against a lot more, so your nerves feel the pressure a lot more easily.
