eli5: Why is it temperatures can go up to the trillions but only down to -273?

Adding on top of previous answers. From physics standpoint there is no such a thing as cold. Only lack of heat. ( Where heat is just the measurre of energy in a system – how fast molecules are going) If you have no heat the temperature is 0K and can’t be any lower.
