Eli5: Why is walnut face scrub so bad for your skin?

I use it like twice a week and my face is so smooth after.

The walnut pieces have sharp edges. Most scrubs use spheres. The sharp edges fuck your shit up leaving it susceptible to irritation

It creates small micro tears. Do NOT use it as often as you are. It actually worsens your skin. Reduce use to 2 time a week, three times if you absolutely have to, and replace your other face washes with a gentler face scrub.

It is NOT good to use it how you’ve been.
