Because due to germination all the seeds are not sown in proper depth and distance disabling the plant to grow properly

The odds that dropped seeds grow is random, so they drop way more seeds in random places that may or may not be ideal because there is a good chance a seed will end up in a good spot. Those seeds might make a plant and it might make seed of it’s own, but it probably won’t be very good food production and look like a human liked. By controlling seed placement you can make sure the soil is ideal, sun is ideal, location is ideal. And that will help you with food production or decorative plants being more aesthetic.

Better question: why does the grass in my lawn die so easily but has no trouble growing through the cracks and seams of my driveway. Grass is stupid.
