So we are in the summer and I noticed that when I turn off the AC it doesn’t take more than a few minutes, sometimes even less than that (especially in the car but also in the house) to feel that the house/car is warm again. why does it get warm so quickly?

It could be that just the air is just cold but the furniture and the walls are still warm. Especially with the car. So when you turn off the air conditioner all the items in your room warm up the room air very quickly.
Now if you continuously air condition your home it probably won’t do this because everything in the home will be cold.
