eli5 will creatine monohydrate work on a chicken?

Creatine monohydrate stores water in muscle and increase strength. So will feeding a chicken/any other animal creatine before slaughtering it make the meat juicer/more tender or better in any othwler way?

Somebody patented this twenty years ago, after you could no longer feed meat and bonemeal to ruminants and pigs because of prion diseases like mad cow. It also has the bonus effect of boosting egg production in chickens.

No, I’m totally serious, somebody did this, and somebody patented it. It just expired two years ago.
