I stumbled on a funny meme of a vet giving an echography to a bad and I wanted to know if the ultrasounds of the echography could be harmful to the bat (since they use echolocation).

The frequency of ultra sound is substantially higher than the frequency bats use for their echolocation, like 10-50 times higher.

This means it’s really unlikely that ultrasound would confuse a bat because it’s not the kind of sound it’s paying attention to.
