I’m pretty sure it’s because when you need to pee, it’s because receptors in your bladder have stimulated and cause both a need to pee and contraction of the smooth muscle lining. By shaking your leg, you’re likely
– Disrupting the receptors
– Relaxing the smooth muscle
– Making your body think its in a position where peeing isn’t appropriate (parasympathetic nervous system will stop rest and digest phase during exercise and movement)
