Hello, there’s a question that came to my mind, why do batteries have voltages of 6,12,24,48 and not random numbers ..why there’re no batteries with 18V or 20V for example ?

Im going to let you in on a littpe secret.

The big batteries.

They arent big batteries.

They are literally multiple batteries in a trench coat.

If you open up a high V battery you will actually find connected 6V or 12V batteries inside.

Thats why the numbers are all multiples of 6

And even 6V batteries are made of smaller 1.5V batteries.
