Eutectic mixture

You might need to provide more detail if you’re thinking of a specific application, but in general eutectic mixtures are ones where the melting point of the mixture is lower than any of the individual constituents.

Electrical solder is a really well known one…eutectic solder is 63% tin and 37% lead, and melts at 183C. Pure lead melts at 327C and pure tin at 232C, so going to a eutectic mixture “buys you” about 50C of melting temperature benefit compared to the lowest melting component (tin), which makes soldering far easier.
