Well YouTubers like news and gaming ones are very competitive in getting content out quickly since if you get it out first there’s a higher chance more people will watch it. So generally they would be following the news very tightly and try to rush a video together as soon as they get some information. They would probably just look for anything that gives them information and if they know something would be coming up they would pay attention wnd just find whatever they can.
Many news websites have RSS feeds.
RSS feeds are basically huge text files on the news (or any other) website, with all the news in reverse chronological order. Every time they publish something new, the RSS feed gets automatically updated. There are tools that allow you to track those RSS feeds, and basically get an update every time something new comes up, possibly filtered by topic. You can also monitor multiple websites at once.
It’s something anyone can do, often for free.
