It was a feature accessible from Google’s search results, and was available for most of them, although it could be disabled by a web master. It used to be a clearly visible link, but recently was hidden under a “three dots” menu.

It showed a basic copy of each web page as it was at the time Google read and indexed it. Usually some formatting was missing. This feature could be useful to bypass restrictions that webpage authors imposed. They usually gave full view to Google in order to get the best listings, but limited to what visitors can see according to their account or location. Without this option a web surfer can only go to the website directly.
