Grand unified fiel theory

412 viewsOtherPhysics

Hey everyone! I‘ve been watching a show that mentioned this theory and I‘m curious as to what this theory suggests so I wanted to ask. Mind you I am not good in physics so a simple explanation would be appreciated (and if that‘s not possible at some point then fine). I just wanted to know a bit more about this topic.

Thanks in advance!

So, we as a species use math to describe how things move. We are very good at predicting how big things move, like a ball, or even really big things, like a planet. We can also use math to predict how small things move, like atoms. But we can’t use the same math for both things. The math that works for big things does not work for small things. If we could figure out a type of math that could use the same equations to describe both big and small things, that would be called the grand unified field theory.
