Grand unified fiel theory

406 viewsOtherPhysics

Hey everyone! I‘ve been watching a show that mentioned this theory and I‘m curious as to what this theory suggests so I wanted to ask. Mind you I am not good in physics so a simple explanation would be appreciated (and if that‘s not possible at some point then fine). I just wanted to know a bit more about this topic.

Thanks in advance!

It’s a theory that could describe all motion in the universe from the incredibly small to the insanely big. Trouble is things at a quantum scale don’t seem to follow the rules of the rest of the universe. Truth is we don’t know.

Edit: To be fair extremely large masses don’t behave well either. For example the singularity at the center of a black hole. We currently have no idea what is going on there.
