Had a General Anaesthetic today; why does it make you feel queasy/sick afterwards?

It shouldn’t.
Are you male or female? Because when I had my op a month ago my anaesthesiologist said it’s more common for women to feel nauseated after general, and a guy shouldn’t. You may want to let the next one know it makes you nauseated.
