Ok after not riding since a teen in the last 2 years I have gotten back into it. I now own 2 horses. My newest horse got a professional saddle fitting a few weeks ago and I was told he needs a “regular tree”. Ok great. Now when I am looking at used saddles almost no one else uses that term.
I’ve heard gullet sizes, quarter horse bar, half quarter horse bar etc. so now I’m confused and every time I think I have it figured out I’m confused some more.
So explain it like I’m 5 what all this means please so I can shop for a second saddle with a bit more confidence.
