The answer is going to be dependent on the specific mine in question, as will questions of quality, just like the mineral output of ANY mine for any material.

But as a gross over-simplification, in a moderately productive kimberlite shaft a single worker can expect to find between five and seven KILOS of diamond material in a day. The vast, VAST majority of that material will be of such low quality as to be only usable for industrial purposes (“sand paper”, diamond encrusted files, and the like), with gem-quality finds being between 10 and 15 carets per day per worker on average.

And the worker will earn for their work? About 2USD per day.
