How are drugs absorbed nasaly?

Which part of your nose absorbs the drugs? Is it your nasal walls that you can feel with your fingers or is it further up in your nose, like your sinuses etc… or is it the drip that you can feel afterwards which is where the drugs are being absorbed?

The tissue in your nose is very thin with lots of blood flow. The thinness allows some drugs to absorb into the tissue, where the blood flow carries it to the rest of the body. The nose is not the only body part with these characteristics, the genitals work in a similar way.
