How are dust gathered in a certain place(eg. cabinet) even though its enclosed?

Im going to say every time you open a cabinet door it creates a tiny pressure differential and air from the room gets sucked into the cabinet and mixed with the air already in there. The air then calms and the dust settles. Then happens dozens of times a week. Eventually there’s enough dust to be visible on the surface of the cabinets.
if dust gathers, it’s not fully enclosed. the dust gets in through the teeny little cracks.
