how are they able to rotate an image?

Watching basketball and someone scores. Then They change the angle and the image is able to rotate with it. Isn’t the image a still? So how are they able to rotate the image.

(A little more context)

It’s on a replay.

Kevin Durant scores and then the camera angle rotates towards the right side and we get to see him make the shot from the side.

I hope this makes sense.

They have lots of cameras in a circle, or semi-circle and cycle through each camera in sequence. Kind of like how when people do the wave it travels around the arena in a circle, just imagine that, but switching between cameras all pointed at the same thing.
