“Modern geometry” is a marketing term that can simply mean not an 1800s design. Engineering/design, especially performance engineering, is constantly evolving.

The frame design of bikes in 2004 are different from the frame in 2024.

Efficiencies are found; more rigerous testing is performed and better frame designs are produced
