How are we suspended in space?

The Earth isn’t suspended by anything, it’s technically in a free fall trajectory. The only thing preventing it from actually falling is the inertia from its rotation around the sun.

The naming can be a bit misleading, for instance when you throw something upwards it’s free falling even while its going upwards, it just happens that the speed isn’t pointing down yet, but the acceleration does. For the Earth the speed never gets to point directly towards the sun.

basically the sun is so big and has a strong gravitational pull. were in that. orbiting the sun. also the earth spins at about a thousand miles per hour as we go around the sun.

Your question is unclear. Are you asking why are humans experiencing “weightlessness” in space? Or what is holding things in orbit? Who is “we” in your question?
