I’m willing to bet more than anything, it’s by adding “natural favouring”.

The thing is, all these companies pay chemicist’s big bucks to develop a signature taste to their product.

It’s why a McDonald’s hamburger tastes exactly the same, no matter where you go.

Once you cook vegetables to the degree that food manufacturers do, they lose all of their flavor. That is intentional so that they can add their own proprietary flavors back in.
