The “experience of a real fall” is something that is *created in your head*. That can happen with or without an external stimulus. Whether or not one has experienced the sensation after an external stimulus before or not does not matter, since one does not depend on the other.

If you haven’t experienced a real fall then what makes you believe that your mind is recreating what a real fall feels like?
If you have however fallen before, even if less dramatically than you do in a dream, then your mind can base it on those experiences instead.
