How can the Task Manager in Windows or Force Quit in macOS close frozen, suspended, unresponding programs instantly. What do they do different than clicking the X button in the corner?
The difference is that clicking the X makes the program close itself down.
But if the program isn’t responding in the first place. Clicking X won’t do anything.
The force quit is the operating system. That will simply put delete the memory that holds the program.
