How can we estimate natural ressources reserves with accuracy? (minerals, precious metals, gas, oil, etc.)

Who says it’s done with accuracy? It’s done very approximately, and that’s a cause for many arguments at geologic conferences. There are many limiting factors and not all that you find can be extracted. There are uncertainties in all these estimates, but most non-scientific publications don’t include them because science is hard.
