I know that they control when you feel tired, but when I travel I can change when I go to sleep. Jet-lag only lasts a couple days, then you can change your sleep schedule. Why can’t you do this normally? Why can’t I choose when to feel tired just by practicing?
Your circadian rhythm is driven by a few things, but the big one is the sun. So when you’re in a different time zone, it’s easier to change since you’re changing to match the sun – not against it. If you try to change your rhythm against the sun, that’s a lot harder to do.
