How come people in hot countries and these living without protection are not all swollen up after mosquitoes bites?

You can build up a tolerance to mosquito bites. After being bit thousands of times, your body stops reacting as aggressively to bites. Eventually, you can get to the point where bites don’t swell at all anymore.
I totally believe it has mostly to do with blood type and/or body chemistry, so it could have something to do with the genetics in certain areas. I get eaten up (and itch, swell, and scar) but my dad can basically roll around in them and walk away with no bites!! It’s bananas.
