Because sales are still high enough to justify releasing with issues. They have to release a phone each year to stay with the competition and this years phone was designed well before the last years model was released…… Isuues with this model are likey to be addressed in 2-3 generations, granting that they are small in number and nature and will not affect the bottom line.

The number of failures and problems is insufficient for them to change the design or manufacturing. If you have a problem with your Samsung A21, as an example, and 100 others do but they sold 1,000,000 of them, they won’t fix the problem when 990,899 of them have no complaints.

Remember a lot of review sites have more bad reviews as a proportion to sales because people go to the web and complain and don’t go to the web and say nice things. So don’t assume 20 bad reviews are all the reviews.

Also, if you bought this A21 and were unhappy, why would you buy it again? If something is truly bad, like 50% failure rate, they will recall it, fix it or quit selling it. And these phones have a life cycle anyway so as soon as the A22 (again, an example) is out, they won’t care about the A21 once their warranty obligations have expired which is going to be likely the case.
