How come that pi (π) extends its decimal numbers infinitely?

Is there any explanation behind this?

If you want to find a reason why

Area of a Circle = πr^2

π=r^2/Area of a Circle

And there are no two numbers A and B such that A^2 and B are integers and B is the area of a circle with radius A

Mathematician here: Pi is an irrational number, that means it can do whatever the hell it wants

There are more irrational numbers than there are rational ones. sheer statistical probability says that any random number that happens to be mathematically significant like pi or e is more likely to be irrational. And when I say “more likely” I mean the chances of it being rational is about one in infinity.
