How come the bottom of glasses are always wet even when you don’t spill anything?

It depends on your climate, but if the drink is colder than the air surrounding it, water from the air will settle on the glass/cup (cold air can hold less water than warm air) it will then collect into drops that flow down and make the bottom wet. This happens easier in humid climates, as the outside temperature is higher, the air more humid, and the difference in temperature between the air and the container doesn’t have to be that large. Lived in Switzerland for most of my life, and can barely remember having this happen.
But usually, not only the bottom gets wet, but also the sides.

If it’s just wet on the bottom, you might simply have a hole in your glass 😉
