how come when your go to particular country’s your not supposed to drink the water but the locals can drink it?

Each water source has different minerals, chemicals and potentially parasites/bacteria in them. Your stomach is used to the stuff you drink regularly (like an immune system). If you drink something with totally foreign bacteria and chemicals etc, it is likely your body won’t handle it well so you will expel it the quickest way your body does. Via your butt.
