With the massive number of airports scattered around the world and limited plane places especially in smaller airports, flights seen fo occur back to back as in each hour there’s a flight. How does this happen? How does a new airline fit in?

It’s all based around “landing slots”, issued to an airport by an oversight body (like the FAA in the USA). Airports have a certain number of them and they can be bought and sold by different airlines operating from the airport.
A new airline would have to buy into this system which is quite difficult and expensive.
