What is nespresso, nescafe, dolce gusto? How do pods work? Are they all compatible with every machine like how USB is compatible with almost every computer? Which is the cheapest or most cost-efficient? Which has the best range of coffee/flavours?

Nespresso/dolce gusto/tassimo are all single serve pods, but they don’t mix and match. If you’re thinking of getting a pod machine, I’d recommend the nespresso one, mainly because supermarkets do their own versions so you’re not tied to a particular brand.
Also, nespresso pods are much easier to recycle, being aluminium. The tassimo are a *lot* of plastic.
