Depends on the brand/drink, but generally a combination of caffeine, sugar, chemicals and maybe some added vitamins. But typical energy drinks are loaded with caffeine and sugar at high levels.

They don’t give you energy. It’s just a ton of caffeine. Sometimes as much caffeine as a full liter or more of normal coffee. All caffeine does is block the brain from feeling tired.
