I’ll try again… every major police department has a narcotics task force or guys that work with informants. Those informants are basically drug dealers they use to curb most of the traffic and keep “ears to the ground” of more drugs and from where. The informants can tell them. They probably already had a rough estimate before the bust. Especially if it’s a large bust. The stranger substances or quantities they can guess. It’s not that tough. The drug dealers are happy to brag beforehand anyway.
