How do injunctions work in the media?

Thinking about the Kate Middleton stuff. How does one person or entity have the right to call an injunction Vs an average citizen trying to protect something from hitting the press

A legal injunction is an appeal to the courts to prevent a media outlet from publishing something that’s against the law, like stolen property. There is a bit more of that in the UK, than in the US where prior restraint isn’t so much of a thing. An average person, in the UK, can do the same thing as Kate Middleton, given that they have as much money for lawyers with the same contacts. To succeed, you need a much better claim that “I rather wish they did not publish that”.
