The laser isn’t taking the temperature it just basically there for the same reason that there’s a laser on a gun. The way the thermometer works without touching you is through infrared technology
Ok, what people are omitting is that the laser does nothing but tell you where you are aimed. It works without the laser. If you read the sticker it tells you how wide an area it covers.
