How do our eyes see?

For clarification: I believe I understand the basics of visual processing. My question is, once all the processing is done in the brain, how is the data seemingly “projected” back to our eyes? Does the brain house some kind of virtualized map of the eyes to which it displays processed visual data?

It’s called the “qualia” of seeing and nobody actually knows how brain information turns into a feeling of actually seeing stuff. It’s a hard problem of conciousness that we just don’t know the answer to
