so when things burn they oxidize, but the oxygen we breathe which is o2(2 bonded oxygen) is some what stable unless it get ignited. ozone on the other hand is o3(3 bonded oxygen) and much more reactive than o2, the extra oxygen atom can bond/burn with odor molecules without igniting. this is dangerous because it can also bond/burn your soft tissue like your nose and lung.
