It’s a lot of factors that add up. Tightly controlled genetics, crazy watering and feeding schedules, Tightly controlled vine and fruit pruning, protection from bug and wind damage, and a lot of effort to keep the thing from growing so fast it splits under it’s own weight. Generally they’re supported in a sand bed while growing, with a shade cloth to keep the skin flexible.
