I see. So it just permeates into blood then carried throughout the body. So I take it we don’t inject it in veins because it’s just slower to administer and requires more skill? I can see that. Thank you.

There’s a lot of blood flow in muscle. The drug gets absorbed into it. There’s also lymphatic drainage of the body tissues, where fluid between the cells gets pulled into the lymph vessels and dumped into the veins.
