Just saw a video of a huntsman spider carrying a dead mouse to its nest in a corner of a wall, how does it do that ?

Spider’s legs are covered in tons of tiny hairs, and each of those is covered in even more tiny hairs. In addition, some spiders have little claws on the ends of their legs. Here’s an illustration: https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-85f8357421c950474a3a99b32cfbaeb1-lq

Those tiny hairs and claws get in to microscopic cracks and crevices on the surfaces they climb. In addition, there’s some static electric effects going on that improve grip.
